What is 'Tempesti'?

Founded in 1946 in Italy, the Santa Croce districta prestigious tanner located in'Tempesti' company manufacturesLeather finished with wax sprayed on the surface to give a whitish appearance.

The surface of the waxed leather appears white as if covered in mist, but as you use it, it adapts and reveals the leather's original color and character.

Because it is waxed, the leather is less prone to dirt and ages slowly and gradually.

Used for wallets, bags, and so on.

What is 'Lo Stivale'?

This leather is produced by the prestigious tannery 'Lo Stivale' in the Santa Croce district of Italy, founded in 1958, characterized by its elegant and deep color tones. You can enjoy a relaxed aging process.

Used for belts, handles, and so on.

What is Japanese vegetable-tanned cowhide?

We use domestically produced vegetable-tanned cowhide from Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan's largest leather production area.

Among them, the soft and supple leather is rare because it requires more effort. The surface is treated to prevent dirt, so you can use it without worrying excessively.

Used in drawstring bags, multistrap & pouches, etc.

Delife's "What does 'high quality' mean?"
Delife's material selection is very simple: whether it is "high quality and environmentally conscious". "High quality" means vegetable-tanned leather that ages (changes over time).
This material is said to account for 10% of the leather produced worldwide, tanned from plant saps and is environmentally friendly, commonly called eco leather. On the other hand, 90% of chrome leather is made with chemicals, causing marine pollution from wastewater, which is a social issue. Therefore, to realize a sustainable society, we actively use eco leather that is environmentally friendly and ages beautifully.
Eco leather minimizes processing that hides scratches and wrinkles to preserve the leather's original texture. This is leather carefully tanned over time with vegetable tannins.High-quality leather is not necessarily uniform and flawless. Therefore, the areas with wrinkles also develop through use, giving each product its own individuality and making it even moreYou will grow more attached to it.Over time, it undergoes aging changes, increasing in color and gloss, blending with your skin and transforming into a texture unique to youIt shows rich expressions.
