This leather is made by the prestigious Italian tannery Tempesti, located in the Santa Croce district and founded in 1946.Wax is sprayed onto the surface, giving the leather a whitish finish.
The surface of this waxed leather looks white, as if covered in mist, but with use it softens and reveals the leather’s original color and character.
Because it is waxed, the leather is less prone to staining and its aging develops gradually.
We use it for wallets, bags, and other products.
“Lo Stivale”—what is it?
This leather is made by the prestigious Italian tannery “Lo Stivale,” located in the Santa Croce district and founded in 1958. It is characterized by its elegant, rich tones, allowing you to enjoy a gentle aging process.
We use it for belts, handles, and other products.

・What is Japanese vegetable-tanned cowhide?
We use domestically produced vegetable-tanned cowhide from Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan’s largest leather-producing region.
Among these leathers, those with a soft, supple feel are rare because they require considerable time and effort to produce. The surface is treated to help prevent stains, so you can use it without excessive concern.
We use it for Drawstringbag, Multistrap&pouch, and other products.

This material is said to account for just 10% of the leather produced worldwide. Because it is tanned using plant sap and other natural materials, it is environmentally friendly and is commonly referred to as eco-leather. In contrast, chrome leather, which accounts for 90%, is made using chemicals, and water pollution caused by wastewater has become a social issue. Therefore, to help create a sustainable society, we actively use eco-leather that is environmentally friendly and develops a wonderful patina.
