Uses vegetable-tanned cowhide leather from Italy's Tempesti company.
The leather surface is sprayed with wax to give it a whitish finish.
Vegetable-tanned natural leather is also called eco-leather because it does not release dirty water, making it environmentally friendly. The aging process varies depending on individual use, but the leather becomes glossier and changes to a deeper color the more it is used.
