Using shimenawa from "Nawaya Chuemon," established in Meiji 40, we made Delife’s "shimenawa decoration."

- About the Design -

We actually had a lot of trouble with the design.

We tried various leather decorations, but none matched or could compete with the power of the shimenawa...

That’s true.

because shimenawa have a long history and are already perfected.

We struggled for a while,

We kept the design as simple as possible by bundling the shimenawa with leather, avoiding excessive decoration typical of Delife.

We have created an ornament we are truly satisfied with.

The jagged silhouette is inspired by lightning and reflects the wish for a bountiful rice harvest in the design.

Recommended as an ornament to brighten your room or as a New Year's shimenawa decoration.
